In the past year, Price has starred as Patsy Cline in the acclaimed "Always Patsy Cline," performing in seven sold-out shows.Opening acts will include local legends Julie Bradbury, Kristy Wauson, Cindy Wickham and Angela McElroy to help bring about Christmas spirit throughout the night.A portion of the proceeds for the show will benefit the OJC President s Leadership Program to support scholarships for future members. The President s Leadership Program is designed to develop future leaders within the community and build partnerships through experiential learning and service.Tickets for this season starter are $10 per individual to the public. Yaconis is eager to bring contemporary work to his audiences, and The Motherfucker is one of six regional premieres in Edge s up-coming season. I go for the story, he says. Is it entertaining? Is there good conflict? I like darker, edgier stuff.... It s hard to get rights to interesting new plays when you re a small theater it s a matter of persistence. This play was nominated for a Tony in 2011; we ve been working to get the rights for three years. We hope it attracts a new audience though the title might scare some off, he says, laughing.
